From Chiang Mai Fields... To a Healthier You
At Tempeh House, we believe in the true power of nature-sourced nutrition—especially Tempeh, a plant-based superfood that is as kind to the planet as it is to your body. We are more than just tempeh producers; we are part of a journey that begins in organic soil and ends with pure, wholesome food on your plate.
"Every block of our tempeh begins with the best intentions."
Our story starts in the fertile highlands of Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand. We work hand-in-hand with our Contract Farmers, a community of dedicated growers who share our vision. These farmers are the heart of our brand; they don’t just grow soybeans—they live and breathe the philosophy of sustainable agriculture.
The Power of Non-GMO: Nature in its Purest Form
We meticulously select only Non-GMO soybeans grown in our own fields and those of our partner farmers in Chiang Mai. This ensures that every bite of our tempeh is free from synthetic alterations, preserving the natural integrity and nutritional density of the bean.
Organic Cultivation: The Heart of Sustainability
Our soybeans thrive in a pollution-free environment, grown organically without any chemicals from seed to harvest. We prioritize the health of the soil, water, and air—meaning zero pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or herbicides that could harm our delicate ecosystem.
Most importantly, we stand firm in our "No Burning" policy. By eliminating field burning, we preserve the richness of the topsoil, help reduce air pollution (PM 2.5), and protect the health of our local community and the environment.
Great stories have a personality. Consider telling a great story that provides personality. Writing a story with personality for potential clients will assist with making a relationship connection. This shows up in small quirks like word choices or phrases. Write from your point of view, not from someone else's experience.
Great stories are for everyone even when only written for just one person. If you try to write with a wide, general audience in mind, your story will sound fake and lack emotion. No one will be interested. Write for one person. If it’s genuine for the one, it’s genuine for the rest.
SOYBEAN
Original Soybean Tempeh The classic original soybean tempeh is a nutritional powerhouse that serves as a complete plant-based protein source, containing all nine essential amino acids necessary for muscle repair and overall growth. Beyond its impressive protein density, it is naturally rich in isoflavones and calcium, which work together to support heart health, maintain strong bones, and potentially help alleviate symptoms associated with menopause
SOYBEAN WITH QUINOA
Soybean Tempeh with Quinoa When soybeans are combined with quinoa, the result is a texturally diverse food that offers a "double dose" of complete proteins alongside significant amounts of insoluble fiber to aid in healthy digestion. This variety also boasts a lower glycemic index and provides a rich supply of essential minerals like magnesium and manganese, making it an excellent choice for regulating blood sugar and supporting efficient metabolism.
SOYBEAN WITH
PERILLA SEEDS
Soybean Tempeh with Perilla Seeds (Ngamon) The addition of Perilla seeds, locally known as Ngamon, transforms standard tempeh into an anti-inflammatory superfood that is exceptionally rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, specifically Alpha-Linolenic Acid, which is crucial for brain health and cognitive function. Furthermore, these nutrient-dense seeds significantly boost the total calcium content for stronger bones and provide powerful antioxidants that help combat oxidative stress and support the respiratory system.
CHICKPEA
Chickpea Tempeh Chickpea tempeh offers a creamier texture and a milder flavor profile that is packed with folate and dietary fiber, making it highly beneficial for cellular health, DNA synthesis, and maintaining a healthy digestive tract. Often serving as a lighter or soy-free alternative, it provides a lower-calorie and lower-fat option that remains incredibly satiating, which can be particularly helpful for those managing their weight.
BLACK BEAN
Black Bean Tempeh Black bean tempeh is distinguished by its high concentration of anthocyanins, the potent antioxidants found in the dark skins of the beans that actively support eye health and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Additionally, this earthy and flavorful variety is excellent for stabilizing blood sugar levels to prevent insulin spikes and provides vital minerals like iron, phosphorus, and potassium that contribute to overall vitality and bone structure.
